NETTIE LOGAN PARKER
Mrs. Nettie Henrietta Logan Parker, 66, of 1658 Grant, died Tuesday night at her home after an extended illness.
Mrs. Parker was born Feb. 18, 1904, in Rock Springs, Wyo., a daughter of Robert Blyth and Mary Gray Bell Logan. She was reared and educated in Superior, Wyo., and Ogden, and graduated from Ogden High School.
On Sept. 12, 1928, she was married to Frank K. Parker in Ogden. He died Dec. 24, 1966.
She started working at Boyle Furniture Co. in 1925, and was the office manager at the time of her death.
She was a member of the First Methodist Church and had been active in the Women's Society of Christian Service. She was a member of the Zonta Club and DeMolay Mother's Club, pas president of the State Assembly of Rebekah, past noble grand of the Rebekah Lodge No. 4, Queen Esther Chapter, Order of Eastern Star.
Surviving are two sons, and two daughters, Robert L. Parker, Montclair, Calif.; Larry G. Parker, serving with the U.S. Army in Vietnam; Mrs. Don (Sharon) Peterson, Ogden; Mrs. Rex (Judy) Osmond, Riverdale; 12 grandchildren; three brothers, James H. Logan, Ogden; Robert W. Logan, Green River, Wyo.; William H. Logan, San Jose, Calif.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Flowers Mortuary with Rev. Earl S. Harvey of the Trinity Presbyterian Church officiating. Friends may call at the mortuary Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Burial in the Aultorest Memorial Park.
