Betty Lou Parker, 65, of Van Buren died Wednesday, May 31, 2000, in a local hospital.

She was a homemaker and attended the Van Buren Freewill Baptist Church.

Funeral was at Central Freewill Baptist Church with burial at Mayberry Cemetery in Central City under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith.

She is survived by her husband, Calvin; one daughter, Debbie Ryan of Fort Smith; one son, Calvin Ray Parker of Van Buren; three sisters, Velma Myers, Patsy White and Lula Stringer, all of Van Buren; one brother, Arthur Eugene Heathcock of Van Buren; and two grandchildren, Charlie and Justin Ryan of Fort Smith.

Pallbearers were Buddy and Jackie White, Ray Parker, Earnie Parker Jr., Timothy Rye, Kelvin Stringer, Bobby Myers and Curtis Ryan.
