| Birth: | Nov. 9, 1830 | | Death: | Nov. 9, 1872 |  Aged 42 yrs. She was the wife of John Parker who was murdered, 19 December 1863, in North Andover, Massachusetts while recruiting substitutes for the Civil War so that the town of Derry, New Hampshire would meet its quota.
Elizabeth was the mother of Lucy E Parker Holt and Lottie Parker Marshall, Charles F. Parker and Corp John Parker, who was killed in the Civil War at Cold Harbor, Virginia just six months after his father was murdered. Newspaper accounts of her husband's murder state that "she was insane with grief". One cannot imagine how deep her grief went when six months later she was notified of her son being killed in action.
