Born in Indianapolis, IN, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Lottie Hendershot Kernodle and the widow of Grady Ernest Parham.
Mrs. Parham was a homemaker and an avid church worker for many years. She served her Lord by teaching Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, working at various Christian camp ministries and many other ways.
Currently a member of Jones Avenue Baptist Church in Easley, previously, she was a member of Washington Avenue Baptist Church in Greenville for many years.
She is survived by two sons, Michael Parham and wife, Margaret of Ellijay, GA and Rev. Patrick Parham and wife, Dell, of Elizabethton, TN; four grandchildren, Tom, John, Rhea and Tammy; five great grandchildren; and a brother, Robert Kernodle of Spencer, IN.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Hazel Stegelvik.
Visitation will be held Thursday, December, 22, 2011 from 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest.
