Mrs. Julia Bennett, 80, of Hilbert, died Jan. 7, at Calumet Memorial Hospital.
She was born Jan. 21, 1885, in Shawano, daughter of the late John and Mary Parent. On June 26, 1907, she was married to Fred Bennett at Crivitz, Wis. He died in 1958.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Parish, Hilbert, Christian Mothers Society, American Legion Auxiliary and several Women’s clubs.
Surviving are three sons, Russell of Plymouth, Duane of Waukesha, Kenneth of Ft. Atkinson; 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at St. Mary Catholic Church, Hilbert. The Rev. Alfred Lohr, pastor was the celebrant of the requiem Mass. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
