Parent a long time Nevada resident died in Cumberland, RI on March 20, 2010 where he was born. At the age of 18, he joined the Air Force. He served his country in The Korean War and later was the Chief of Security Police at the Air National Guard in Reno. He retired after 20 years of service. He left three daughters, Patricia Rackley, Cheryl Raybourn, and Katherine Partin. He had four grandchildren, Stephany, Jaci, Nicole, and Ryan. He also has three great grandchildren, Hailey, Brooklyn, and Zachary, all living in Reno. After his retirement from the Air Force, he was general manager of Silver State Barricade and Sign. He worked there until he retired and moved back to Rhode Island. He remarried and lived the remainder of his life with Helen Parent in Cumberland, RI. He leaves 4 step-daughters, Dianne Garon, Linda Varone, Donna Messier, and Lori Helms, as well as, several grandchildren. He was a kind and generous man. He was loved by many. He was an avid baseball and football fan.
