A private dispatch to Mr. William Drake, of this city, announces the death, at Kansas City, of Mr. E. E. Palmer. The deceased was formerly a resident of Springfield and was a partner of Mr. Drake's in the boiler making business. He was at the time of his death running a similar business in Kansas city. About two weeks ago he received injuries from a falling building, that resulted in the almost instant paralysis of the lower portion of his body and, later in his death.
