SOUTH BEND - Lawrence "Larry" Pahl, a resident of Schaumburg, IL, for 22 years, formerly of Arlington Heights, IL. Visitation for Lawrence "Larry" Pahl, 72, will be held Monday, March 28, 2011, from 11 a.m. until time of Celebration of Life Service at 1 p.m. in Michael's Funeral Home, 800 S. Roselle Road, Schaumburg, IL 60193. Interment will be at Eden Memorial Park, Schiller Park, IL. Born June 29, 1938, in Baltimore, MD, to the late Edmund and the late Luella, he passed away peacefully on March 24, 2011, surrounded by his loving family. Larry graduated from Riley High School in South Bend, IN, and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1960. He was proud to have been a Management Analyst working for the FAA for 30 years. An avid Chicago Bears and Cubs fan, Larry maintained Bears season tickets for 25 years. He was the adoring husband of 22 years to Kay (nee Schneider); loving father to Lisa (Tom) Buettner and William (Cindy); stepfather of Donald (Diana) Larson and John (Debbie) Camiliere; fond grandfather of Hannah and Kevin Pahl, and Shelby and Mandy Buettner; dear stepfather of the late Ronald Larson; proud step-grandfather of Kristin and Robbie Camiliere and Brittany, and Ryan Larson; beloved brother of Joyce (Roger) Foley; dear brother-in-law of Jean (Bruce) Vaccaro; and cherished uncle of Bridget (Nick) Brady.
