Juanita passed away four days shy of her 100th birthday.
Juanita was born and raised Las Vegas, New Mexico.
Juanita lived her last 35 or more years in Albuquerque, NM with her husband the late Ira "Bud" Gibson. They had no children.
Juanita is survived by her siblings, Joe Padilla of Albuquerque, NM, who took special attention to assist after Juanita loss of her husband in 1981.
Juanita is survived by two additional siblings, Virginia Dahl and Robert Padilla. Juanita is survived by many nephews and nieces as well as the many friends she made at the North Valley Senior Center.
Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Gibson in August of 1981 and her mother, Rose McAdams also in August of 1981 and her father, Joseph A. Padilla Sr. and four older sisters and an older brother.
Juanita will be buried alongside her husband Ira "Bud" Gibson after a short Ceremony at Santa Fé National Cemetery in Santa Fé, New Mexico at 1:30 p.m. on August 28, 2015. At 4:00 p.m. memorial gathering will be held after the cemetery services at the Bosque Farms, NM home of nephew, Ray and his wife, Annita.
