Mrs. Creason was the daughter of the late Elizabeth King Padget and B. D. D. Padget of Darlington County.
She had been a resident of Columbia for 65 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Philathea Sunday School Class.
Mr. and Mrs. Creason celebrated their 71st wedding anniversary on January 21, 1965.
Surviving is her husband, a daughter, Mrs. W. O. Mcgiboney, a son, Claude E. Creason, a grandson, Claude E. Creason Jr., and a great-grandson, Claude E. Creason III,
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, conducted by the Rev. R., Archie Ellis, D.D., the Rev. Lewis W. Martin and the Rev. Larry Long. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be T. M. Carlton, G. Woodrow Stoudemire, Dr. R. A. Lytle, J. M. Kinsey, D. George Ruff, and W. C. Adams.
Friends may call at the resident and the funeral home.
