DONNA M. POWALISZ
Donna Mae Powalisz, 80, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at Shady Lane.
She was born on May 1, 1931 to Roland and Clara (Ruth) Brachmann. On Aug. 10,
1960 she married John Powalisz. He preceded her in death on Aug. 28, 1984.
Survivors include her son, Jeff and his wife, Mito Powalisz; one brother, Ira
Brachmann and his wife, Ruth of Windsor Lakes, CT.; two sisters-in-law, Marilyn
Brachmann of Fond du Lac and Janice Brachmann of Manitowoc. Donna was preceded
in death by six brothers, Elmer, Alvin, Roman, infant boy unnamed, Marvin and
Ramon and two sisters, Alice and Vernice.
She was blessed by love and friendship of Lois Kanneman and Dave and Diane Sleger
and Shawn and Holly Kurschner.
A prayer service was held on Friday, March 2, 2012. God now holds Donna May in
the palm of his hand. The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is assisting the
family with funeral arrangements.
