Shirley Jean Owensby Beard was born to Jimmie G. and Maeomia Owensby in Marion, Indiana. They preceded her in death. She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church where she attended. She graduated From Cleveland public schools and received her certified nursing assistant Certification from Bradner Nursing Home. She was employed at Wesleyan nursing home she loved bingo and making jewelry.
She leaves to morn her home going four children, Donald, Robert, Tamika, D'Micah, all of Marion. Also seven brothers, James (Sharon) James Lee, David, Stan, Randy, Ike (Nilda) and Mike; four sisters, Addie (George) Raynard, Lois (James) Jones, Jill Owensby, and Daffey (Robert) Robinson; special friends Jeff, Pam, Darrell, and Louis Rogers; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
