Services were Saturday morning November 19 at Hall-Baker Funeral Home Plainfield, for Mrs. Grace Crowe 86, Cartersburg. Mrs. Crowe died Wednesday afternoon at Tendercare Convalescent Center Danville, following a lenghty illness.
The daughter of Marion Owens and Martha Jane Clark, she was born at Cartersburg October 1, 1891.
Mrs Crowe was a lifetime resident of Cartersburg and was a member of the Cartersburg Community church and South Liberty Home Demonstration Club
For several years she had been employed as a mail carrier for Pennsylvania Railroad.
Surviving are daughters Mrs. Mary Francis Snodgrass and Dorothy Bayse, both of Cartersburg: four grandchildren, and brother, Paul owens, rural Danville.
Rev. Ed. Freathy officiated with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
