Thomas Owens, of Sand Creek township died on Tuesday at the advanced age of 89 years. He had been sick for sometime, but previous to this, he had been noted as a very active man for his age. The remains were burled at the Abel cemetery yesterday. His presence will be greatly missed, not only by his family, but in the neighborhood where he has lived for so long, The sincerest sympathy of neighbors and friends will be with the relatives in their sorrow.
