Lillian Alexander, 94, of Spur, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2005. Graveside servies were held 10:00 AM, Monday September 5, 2005 at Spur Memorial Cemetery with Eric Swenson officiating. Burial was under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Alexander was born January 12, 1911 in Hamlin, Texas to John and Carolyn Brown Owen. She graduated from Hamlin High Shool. She married Dr. Bob Alexander August 15, 1943 in Nashville, TN. He preeded her in death November 12, 1993. She served in the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps during WWII. Lillian had a lifelong love for animals, especially cats and dogs. She was a homemaker and a Methodist.

She was also preceded in death by four brothers.

She is survived by one son, Jack Alexander of Spur; one daughter, Jill Scott of El Paso; two step-daughters, J.J. King of Amarillo and Nan L. Kidd of White River Lake; and several grandchildren.
