Obituary:
Died, at her home, one and one-half miles north of Monmouth, Kansas, Monday December 10, 1906, at 4:55 a.m., Mrs. Minnie C. Hartman aged 38 years, 7 months and 15 days.
Minnie C. Overly was born in Piatt county, Ill., April 25, 1868. In 1873 she was brought to Kansas by her parents.
On Nov. 6 1895 she was married to Charles Hartman who with four children survives her.
Besides these of her own home circle, she leaves to mourn her loss father, mother, one brother, four sisters and a large company of more distant relatives.
She united with Methodist Episcopal church at Monmouth in October, 1894, and has maintained her relation ever since. She was a good wife and mother, devoted to her family, and was loved by all who knew her.
Funeral services were conducted by her pastor at the Methodist Episcopal church in Monmouth, and her mortal remains were interred in the Monmouth cemetery Tuesday, December 11, 1906.
