Harold Arthur Over, 73, of Sligo RD 1, died at 7:05 am yesterday in Brookville Hospital. He was born in Monroe Township Sept. 27,1900, the son of Calvin and Katherine Over. He was a farmer and made his home in Monroe Township all his life. He also worked in coal mines and drove a school bus. He was married Oct. 30,1924, to the former Arvita Elder.
One brother, Dana, and one grandchild are deceased. Mr. Over was a member of the Monroe Chapel United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm today at the Hawn Funeral Home in Sligo. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Sunday in the funeral home with Rev. Dale Reits of the Monroe Chapel United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in the Reidsburg Cemetery. Source: The Oil City Derrick, Oil City, PA. Mar 16, 1974.
