| Birth: | Sep. 6, 1885 | | Death: | Jul., 1954 |  John E. Over, lifelong resident of Knox, R.D., died Sunday in the Brookville hospital following a five week illness. A son of Elkana and Lavina Fox Over, he was born September 6, 1885. He was married October 11, 1906, to Zula Callen, who survives. Mr. Over was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, a member of Odd Fellows for 30 years and past grand of the IOOF, member of Murphy Grange for fifty years and the Lady Priscilla Rebekah lodge of Sligo. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Merle of Knox, R.D., Mrs. Clara Eaker of Sligo, R.D., Mrs. Ruth Finnefrock of Knox and Elmer of Knox; ten grandchildren; a great grandchild; a brother, Harry of Reidsburg and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Stewart and Mrs. Laura Curran of Redline. The body is at the family home. Services will be held today (Tuesday) in St. Paul's Lutheran church, Wentlings Corners. The Rev. Lewis Fox will officiate. Interment will be in St. Paul's Union cemetery. **A date, July 24, 1954 is written on the original obit clipping.
