Born in Elbert County, she was a daughter of the late Henry Clayborn and Sara Elizabeth Clark Anderson. She was a homemaker and a member of Dove's Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Rhodes of Elberton; two sons, Ronald Outz of Elberton and Arthur Boyd Outz III of Lavonia; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Burial in the Dove's Creek Baptist Church cemetery. Pallbearers are Marc Rhodes, Daniel Outz, Clay Outz, Perry Cooper Outz, Pete Anderson, Lanier Anderson, Hal Bruce Haynes, Neal Gaines, Bobby Breedlove and Furman Trotter.
