My grandmother was a big hearted woman who loved her family very much.
She loved to camp and fish with my grandpa. She would prepare full meals at a campsite or roadside picnic areas. She loved having company over and was an excellent hostess and cook.
Martha was active in her church and choir. She was a beautiful soprano and was loved and respected by her fellow church members.
One of her favorite games was Yahtzee. She would have one or two of the grandchildren spend the night and would play Yahtzee late into the night with them. She was hard to beat!
I only remember her with a smile on her face. I miss her immensely and think of her often.
She was the daughter of August Sattelberg and Augusta Sy.
