BOE- Catherine, at Lemont, mother of John of Joliet, Edward of Lockport, Henry and Harry of Lemont, Mrs. Fred Weber of Elgin, Mrs. Louis Wolter and Mrs. Charles Berlin of Lemont. Funeral services Sunday, April 6, to St. Mathew's Lutheran church at 3 p.m. Interment in St. Mathew's Cemetery.

Mrs. Catherine Boe, aged 84 yrs., died at the home of her son Harry on Talcott Avenue, Thursday morning, April 3, at 4:00 a.m.
Mrs. Boe was born in Wallen, Schleswig Holstein, Germany April 27, 1846 and immigrated to this country in 1866, first settling in Valparaiso, Ind., and there was married to Christ Boe. Two years later they moved to Lemont, where she resided up to the time of her death.
About four years ago her hip was fractured in a fall from which she never fully recovered and this caused her to be an invalid.
Mrs. Boe was always of a quiet and likeable disposition, which made many friends for her, who sadly mourn her passing.
Those left to mourn her death are four sons, John, of Joliet; Edward, of Lockport; Henry and Harry of Lemont; three daughters, Mrs. Fred Weber, of Elgin; Mrs. Louis Wolter, Sr. and Mrs. Charles Berlin, of Lemont; one brother, Frank Otte, of Shickley, Neb.; forty grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon, April 6, at 2:00 p.m. from the home of her son Harry Boe on Talcott avenue, to St. Matthew's Lutheran church. The Rev. W.A. Pieper will officiate. Burial will be made in St. Matthew Lutheran cemetery.
The ? , grandchildren will act as pallbearers, Irvin Boe, Alvin , ? , Walter Boe, Reynold Wolter, Albert Boe and Arnold Boe.
