Ruth Foss, 76 of 405 N. Rainbow Dr., Clare, died Friday, April 8 at the Central Michigan Community Hospital after a short illness.
She was born on November 24, 1900 to John and Anna (Russe) Ott, in Hatton township.
She married Earl Foss on December 11, 1950. She previously operated a bakery in Clare. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Clare.
Surviving are 1 step-son, Laurence Foss, Rochester; 1 step-daughter, Mrs. Thomas L. (Virginia) Wolfe, Grand Rapids; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on Monday, April 11 from the First Baptist Church of Clare with Rev. Donald E. Herweyer officiating. Burial was at the Ott Cemetery.
