Magdalen "Maggie" Ostrenga, 90, Town of Eaton, passed away June 27, 2004, with her family by her side. She was born on Feb. 14, 1914, to the late Walter and Mary (Jurczykowski) Pieschek. She married Peter Ostrenga on Sept. 28, 1937. He preceded her in death on July 24, 1953. She was a lifetime member of SS Cyril & Methodius Church, Daughter of Isabella and Catholic Knights and National Farmers Organization.

She is survived by three children, James (Jean) Ostrenga, Green Bay, Germaine (Larry) Pravechek, Luxemburg, and Mitch (Terry) Ostrenga, Eaton; and daughter-in-law, Renee (Miles) Kresl, Crivitz; 12 grandchildren, Scott (Sue) Ostrenga, Tim (Lisa) Ostrenga, Lori (Doug) Vickman, Lee (Jennifer) Pravechek, Mike Ostrenga and special friend, Tammy and her daughter, Briana, Amy Ostrenga, Tina Ostrenga and special friend, Andy, Paul Ostrenga, Dawn (Jason) Baudhuin, Doug (Julie) Ostrenga, Danny (Jenny) Ostrenga and Dana Ostrenga; six great-grandchildren, Ryan and Kyle Vickman, Dawson Baudhuin, Gavin Ostrenga, Trevor Ostrenga and Alyssa Ostrenga; brothers and sisters, Frank (Lorraine) Pieschek, Angeline Danelski, Basilia Wypishinski and Mitchell (Marcie) Pieschek; sisters-in-law, Catherine Pieschek and Exie Pieschek; brother-in-law, Lloyd Brienen; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Ostrenga; brothers and sisters, Verna (Frank) Cherney, Pauline (Clarence) Vandenplas, Chester Pieschek, Donald Pieschek, Adam Pieschek and Evelyn Pieschek; brothers-in-law, Louis Danelski and Norbert Wypishinski.

Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home & Crematory, 1630 E. Mason St., on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Parish prayer service 6 p.m. Visitation will continue on Thursday at St. Mary's Church, Luxemburg, from 10 to 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. at the church with Rev. Milton Suess officiating. Burial in SS. Cyril & Methodius Church Cemetery.
