Osterman, Duane N. Of Joliet, IL went to be with the Lord, Sunday, January 8, 2012 at Silver Cross Hospital with his family by his side.

Age 71 years.

Survived by his loving wife of 49 years Mary Ann Osterman (nee Vaughn), his three children Sherry (Tom) Stover, Duane (Sheila) Osterman and Brenda (Jeff) Dixon. Nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Four sisters Nancy, Darlene, Carlyann and Deborah.

Preceded in death by his parents Carl and Ann / Nels and Lola. A brother Ronald Osterman.

Duane worked at GAF Corp for 30 years and retired from P.Q. Corp (Inoes Corp) in February 2011. He accepted the Lord and his Savior in September 1984 and attended Harmony Holiness Church for over 24 years. Duane was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Anyone who knows Duane, knows he was always happy, had a smile for everyone and there wasn't a person he didn't love.

Funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Rd., Thursday, January 12 at 7:00 P.M. Pastor Willie Sills officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday from 4:00 7:00 P.M.
