Clara H Krogman, 91, Holton, died Sunday, Feb. 28, 1999, at a hospital here.
She was born August 29, 1907, in Seneca, to Bernard and Elizabeth Dalsing Osterhaus.
She was a member of St. Dominic’s Catholic Church, the Altar Society and Mary Ann Circle, both of the church, and the Golden Rule Club, all in Holton.
She married Martin Krogman on Feb. 19, 1930, in Seneca. They moved to the Holton community from Powhattan in 1948. He died Dec. 4, 1983. Three grandchildren also preceded her in death.
Survivors include sons, Paul Krogram and Robert Krogram; daughters, Alice Doyle-Lindermuth and Gladys Law, both in Topeka, and Mary Ann Turner and Judy Barrow, both in Holton; a sister, Mary Wessel, Seneca; 16 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church in Holton. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery west of Holton. Mrs. Krogman will lie in state at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Holton where a rosary at 7 p.m. Tuesday will be followed by visitation.
Memorial contributions may be made to Holton Community Hospital and sent in care of Kansas State Bank in Holton, 66436.
