Velma M. Bauer, 79, Defiance, died at 4:30 p.m. today, Oct. 20, 2006, in her residence.
She was born Sept. 27, 1927, in Defiance County, the daughter of Carl and A. Mae (Relyea) Osborn.
In 1946, she married Vernon "Red" Bauer, who died in 1996.
She worked at All Star Products and was a member of VFW Post 3360 Auxiliary, Eagles Aerie 372 Auxiliary and Trinity United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Cliff (Sandra) of Defiance and Daniel (Lori), Jewell; a daughter, Terry Raines, Ayersville; and seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were a sister, Evelyn Bauer; a brother, Clifford Osborn; and a granddaughter.
