IN MEMORY OF MRS. JENNIE McDaniel
With sad hearts, yet not as one who hath no hope, we come to speak of one of our members of the Woman's Missionary Society, as president of the LaRue Missionary Society. She was faithful, always coming when possible, always on time and taking a part in the devotional exercises, listening with interest to any and all discussions to promote the good of the society. She was very liberal in giving into God's treasury. She was always present at the church services and prayer meetings as long as she was able to come. Her influence will go down through the years for good and her Maker. To the children and loved ones left behind, we extend our sympathy, but she was ready to go, and we feel sure they would not call her back, but will endeavor to meet her again in the sweet bye and bye.
"Gone but not forgotten
Lost but not for aye
Yet we'll miss your gentle presence
All along the tiresome way."
