Christina was born April 11, 1974, at the base hospital on board the Naval Weapons Center, China Lake, to her proud parents John And Joanie Enriquez. She was a "Navy Brat" and moved to different military installations with her parents. She returned to the Indian Wells Valley in 1990, where she was employed by the Navy Exchange on base, then worked in the catering business with La Fiesta restaurant.
She lost her life to diabetes and lupus complications, after a 19-year battle with both illnesses. She was a tender age of 29.
She met her huband, Louis Orozco, on the base and they were married June 30, 1994.
She was a graduate of Burroughs High School and attended Cerro Coso Community College. She was very active with her church, the First Baptist Church of Ridgecrest, and loved teaching Sunday school for "Her Kids." She was loved and admired by the children she tought, their parents and the members of her church.
Orozco, was preceded in death by her grandmother, Virgina Denman, and her grandfather, Ralph Whitener.
She is survived by her husband, Louis Orozco,

Grandfather, Glen Denman of Inyokern;
Grandmother, Mary Valencia of Ridgecrest,
Step-children, Montoya, Novia, and Louis Orozco III; and four step-grandchildren, Rosanna, K-Ron, Eddie and Devon.
