Son of Victor and Mary (Crossgrove) Oman.
Graduated from Gothenburg High School,attended Nebraska Wesleyan University; achieved the rank of Eagle Scout
Married: Dec. 5, 1937, Minerva Olesen in Gothenburg
Military: stationed in Belfast, Ireland, with Lockheed Aircraft during WW II. Owned and operated the Nifty Cleaners in Gothenburg and One Hour Martinizing in Kearney; also sold real estate and did insurance adjusting
Activities: member of the church, where he served as elder and deacon.
Survivors include: wife; daughters, Cyndy Robinson of Kearney and Nanette Beattie of Sumner; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by two great-granddaughters.
