Lloyd C. W. Olson, 64, 1328 Woodworth Ave., died at midnight Friday, July 26, 1963, in Swedish-American Hospital, after a short illness.
Born Sept. 1, 1898, in Rockford, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Olson. Lived all his life in Rockford. Married to the former Tyra Carlson in Belvidere, Sept. 20, 1924. Superintendent of Rockford Drop Forge, where he was employed for 42 years. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church, and of Rockford Masonic Lodge 102, Freeport Consistory Tebala Temple, and several other fracternal organizations.
Survivors include: his widow; two sons, Gene, Homewood, and Ralph, Park Forest; one sister, Mrs. Henry Gerke, Rockord; five grandchildren.
Services at 1:30 Tuesday, July 3 in the Fred Olson Mortuary. Burial in Arlington Memorial Park.
