Annie M. Garber, 84, of 340 Burr Oak Ave., South Beloit, a lifelong area reisdent, died Friday in Beloit Memorial Hospital.
She was born April 20, 1901, in Beloit, the daughter of Edwin and Minnie Peterson Olson. She married Paul H. Garber June 23, 1923, in Rockford. He died May 13, 1982.
Mrs. Garber was a charter member of Faith Lutheran Church, South Beloit and a charter member of Holtz-Hirst American Legion Post 288 Auxiliary.
Survivors include three sons, William H. of Beloit, Selvey P. and Edwin H. of South Beloit; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Emma Hemiller of Janesville and Mrs. John Milatzo of South Beloit. Her parents, four sisters and one brother are deceased.
The service will be 1 p.m. Monday in Rosman-Uehling-Kinzer Blackhawk Chapel with the Rev. Richard J. Bonner officiating. Burial will be in Rockton Cemetery. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Sunday in Blackhawk Chapel where an auxiliary service will be at 7 p.m.
