ROCKTON, Ill. - Della S. McGonigal, 86, of 806 Kocher st., Rockton, died Thursday, March 11, 1993, in the Beloit Memorial Hospital.
She was born Feb, 15, 1907, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of Andrew and Selma Selund Olson.
She married Lawrence A. McGonigal on Feb. 25, 1925, in Freeport, Ill.
He died April 11, 1963.
She was formerly employed by the Macktown Clubhouse, and the Frontier Inn. She was a member of Royal Neighbors of America and AARP.
Survivors include five sons, Lewis J. (Janice) McGonigal, Lawrence A. McGonigal, James L. McGonigal, Morris E. McGonigal, all of Rockton, Ill.; and Charles R. McGonigal of Rockford, Ill; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Hazel Patterson of Rockton, Ill.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; her daughter, Muriel D. McGonigal; three brothers; and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 15, 1993, iu the Daley, Murphy, Wisch and Assoiciates Funeral Home, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, with the Rev. Jack Kraaz from The Old Stone Church officiating.
Burial will be held in Rockton Cemetery, Rockton, Ill.
Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
