Edna M. Olson, age 92, passed away Monday, September 20, 2010, at Sanford Canton-Inwood Memorial Hospital.
Edna was born September 7, 1918 in Pequot, Minnesota to George and Bessie Mae (Merrill) Tuttle. Edna was united in marriage to Ben Olson December 18, 1935 in Sioux Falls. Edna was a farm wife and homemaker, and later kept busy babysitting and worked as a clerk at the Canton Library. She is survived by 8 children- Edna Mae Pesall, Rapid City, SD, Alfred Benjamin, Miles City, MT, George (Elaine), Sioux Falls, SD, John (Cathy), Broomfield, CO, Rollin (Mabel), Kamuela, HI, Margaret (Mike) McDougall, Brandon, SD, Mary (Duane) Wiebe, Canton, SD, and Terry, Sioux Falls, SD; daughter-in-law, Jan Olson, Hamilton, IL; 25 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Irvine Tuttle, Mitchell, SD. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ben, 4 sons- James, Paul, Don, and Thomas, grandson, Bill, and a brother, Ralph Tuttle.
