Bob was a graduate of Erie Technical High School and had served with the US Army during WWII. He was retired as an assembler with Erie's General Electric plant. Bob was a longtime, active member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. He was also a PIAA basketball official for over 40 years and played in several local basketball and baseball leagues.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes O'Sullivan Olsen; two brothers, Edward (d 8/23/2005 age 81 in Ohio) and Albin Olsen; four sisters, Therese Dymski, Irene Olszewski, Dolores Olszewski, and Rita Piotrowicz, and a dear friend and companion, Mary Cerami.
Robert is survived by two daughters, Cindi Joyce and Christine Mullen and her husband Stephen, all of Erie; grandchildren; great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
