MUHLENBERG COUNTY, KY - Roy "Jewell Ray" Oller, 69, of Powderly passed away Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 4:40 PM at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville, Kentucky. Born in Muhlenberg County on June 14, 1941 Mr. Oller was a retired coal miner. He was of the Baptist Faith and was a member of the Hazel Creek Masonic Lodge # 842, the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Central City, and the UMWA.

He is preceded in death by two children, Martina Eaton and Kevin Oller.

Survivors include his wife Linda Hinton Oller of Powderly; a daughter, Paula Brock and her husband Sgt. Henry Brock; five grandchildren, Tabatha McKinney, Tiffany Ford, Scotty Flener, Megan Beach, and Damien Cookson; two great grandchildren, Makenze Ford and Jayden McKinney; one brother, Glendon Oller of Hammond; three sisters, Norma Sides of Central City, Dottie Truelove of Evansville, and Jo Ann Vick of Cleaton.

He really enjoyed fishing and hunting with his best buddy Bob Sallee.

Masonic services will be held at 6:00 PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City on Tuesday, May 24, 2011.
