TAYLORVILLE - Josephine "Josie" Jenkins, 87, of Taylorville died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2001, at St. Vincent's Memorial Hospital. She was born Dec. 1, 1913, in Tovey, the daughter of Gilbert and Ada Allen Oller. She married David Jenkins in 1933 in Taylorville; he preceded her in death in 1980. Mrs. Jenkins was a waitress at King's Cafe and worked for Mode O Day clothing store before her retirement. She was a member of First Baptist Church, where she was a member of the EMB class. Survivors: three nieces, Carolyn Eggiman of Pawnee, Joanne (husband, Ted) Pollard of Mount Auburn and Janet Fulk of Taylorville; a nephew, Clifford (wife, Marilyn) Oller of Edinburg; several great- nieces and nephews; and several great-great- nieces and nephews. Services: 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville, the Rev. George Christman officiating. Graveside services: 9 a.m. Wednesday, Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville.
