Eloise Olivier Alford, 80, died at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday in an Alexandria hospital. A native of Lafayette, she was a resident of Pineville and the widow of James W. Alford Sr.

She is survived by three sons, James W. Alford Jr., George E. Alford Sr. and Robert B. Alford, all of Pineville; one daughter, Mrs. Eloise A. Smith of Pineville, 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Hixson Bros. Funeral Home. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
