Andrea “Suzie” Oliver Bernard, 60, a native of Lubbock, Texas, and resident of Larose, died at 9:05 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, 2008.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.
She is survived by her husband, Bill W. Bernard; one daughter, Brett B. Guidry; and two brothers, Marion “Andy” Andrew Oliver and Theodore “Teddy” Joseph Oliver.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nathan A. and Lucia Collins Oliver; and one brother, Nathan Allison Oliver III.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 259 in Golden Meadow and a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off is in charge of arrangements.
