Darlene Oliver, 65, of Marietta, passed away at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday (Aug. 18, 2009) at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
She was born Aug. 27, 1943, in Marietta to Donald and Ellajane Monaghan Patterson. Darlene graduated from Marietta High School in 1962.
On Feb. 14, 1970, she married Charles Oliver, who survives with a daughter, Melissa Oliver of Williamstown; and sons, Charles Oliver of Marietta and Patrick Oliver of Williamstown. Also surviving are grandchildren, Meaghan, Keegan, Andrea, Lauren and Lynaea.
In addition to her parents, a brother, Donald Patterson Jr., preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday (Aug. 22) at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Lowell. Friends may call from 2 p.m. Friday.
