Funeral service for Clifton Roger Olive, 51, of Hodgens who died Sunday at the Poteau hospital, was held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Hodgen Methodist Church. Burial was at Hodgens Cemetery by Dowden Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife, Mildred; his parents, Hugh Olive and Beulah Olive, both of Heavener; three sons, Roger of Heavener, Tommy "Dick" of Hodgen and Hugh "Eddie" of Heavener; one daughter, Mrs. Lynda Blair of Heavener; two brothers, Gene of Reedley, Calif., and Jim of Hodgens, one sister, Mrs. Dorothy Goad of Pacifica, Calif.; and five grandchildren. Born Dec. 24, 1916 at Page, Mr. Olive had been a lifelong resident of the Hodgens area, and had operated a grocery store and station there. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
