She was the former wife of John W. Gilliam.
She was born Aug. 6, 1916, a daughter of Charles E. and Ethel R. Oland.
She was a school teacher in Montgomery County.
She is survived by a daughter, Janet L. Gilliam of Silver Spring; brother, Thomas Oland; and sisters, Annie Green and Jean Stuart. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Edwin H. Oland and Glenn P. Oland.
Funeral services were Monday, Jan. 10, at St. Matthew's Presbyterian Church, Silver Spring.
