VILLE PLATTE-It is with great sadness that the family of Yvonne Brunet announces her passing on Friday, February 03, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was 66. A Celebration of Life will be Celebrated at 2:00 pm Sunday, February 05, 2012 at Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Ville Platte. Interment will follow in at the Tee Mamou Cemetery with Pastor Steven Sawtelle officiating, of the Freedom Family Church.
Yvonne was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend and will be missed by all who knew her including her two daughters, Rachel Fontenot and husband, Philip of Ville Platte, and Bridget Catoire and husband, Kenneth of Reddell; companion, Eddie Dangler of Ville Platte; sister, Beryl Jane Bertrand of Ville Platte; seven grandchildren, Kelly Fontenot, Chauncey Fontenot, Siera Fontenot, Branson Fontenot, Trinity Fontenot, Danny Russell, and Danielle Russell; two step-grandchildren, Jacob Bordelon and Jared Bordelon; three great grandchildren, Kayden LaFleur, Marissa Castille, and Talan LeDee; and step-great grandchild, Lillian Bordelon.
She now rests in Heaven with her beloved husbands, Jimmy Roy Ardoin and Allen Brunet; parents, Ivy and Mazel Guillory Oge; and son, Timothy Wayne Ardoin.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Saturday, February 04, 2012 from 10:00 am until time of Services on Sunday, February 05, 2012.
