Odishaw Baby Dies of Suffocation
Billy Rae, infant daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Robert Odishaw, was found dead in her crib last Thursday afternoon. The coroner's report said death was due to suffocation.
The three-month old babe had been put to sleep in an upstairs room, and when her mother returned to her bedside some time later, she found the lifeless body, the head buried in the covers.
Funeral services were conducted at the Baptist church at 1 o'clock Saturday afternoone by Dr. F.C. Edwards. Interment was made in the Corydon cemetery.
The Odishaws have another daughter, Lynn, 17 months old. The Rev. Odishaw is pastor of the Baptist church.
