Emil V. Odenbach, 53, of Cadott, died Wednesday, Sept. 12 an apparent heart attack in the Town of Anson.
He was born July 2, 1931 in the Town of Arthur, the son of Anna and Emil Odenbach. He grew up in Arthur, and graduated form Cadott High School.
Mr. Odenbach served in the U.S. Army. Following the service he was employed at Presto Industries for several years. He was employed at the Chippewa Brass and Aluminum Foundry at the time of his death.
He was united in marriage to Bernadine (Goettl) Buresh Aug. 16, 1975 in Cadott.
Surviving are his wife: one step-son, James Buresh of Cornell; one step-daughter, Bonnie (Mrs. Steve) Mitchell of Jacksonville, N.C.; two sisters, Millie (Mrs. Larry) Berube of Brule and Marcella (Mrs. William) Rehak of Phillips; and one grandchild, Kelsey Mitchell.
Mr. Odenbach was preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, with interment in the Bohemian Cemetery, both in Cadott.
Music for the funeral was provided by Bernadine Hanley and Marvin Rubenzer.
Pallbearers were: Howard Hoel, Ray Rubenzer, Dale Ankney, Brian Goettl, Deone Goettl and Charles Sedivy.
Friends called from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday at Leiser Funeral Home, Cadott, where a vigil service was held at 8 p.m. Friday.
