Funeral services were held at the Leiser Funeral Home here Monday afternoon for Mrs. Emil Odenbach, 75, who died Friday afternoon, August 13, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls. Burial was in the Bohemian Cemetery.
Officiating at the 2:00 services was Walter H. Brovald, Methodist lay speaker; pallbearers were Jos. and Wm. Nesvacil, Lud Muska, Errol Huhn, Edw. Burish, and Robert Vlach. Mrs. Raymond Post sang "Abide With Me" and "Rock of Ages", accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Eleanor Forman.
Mrs. Odenbach was born on December 28, 1890 in Chicago, where she lived until her marriage in 1918 to Emil Odenbach. They operated a Town of Arthur dairy farm until their retirement nine years ago, when they moved to Cadott. She was a member of the ZCBJ Lodge.
Her husband survives her, as does a son, Emil Jr. of Cadott; two daughters, Mrs. Oswald (Mildred) Schachtler, Solon Springs, and Mrs. William (Marcella) Rehak, Phillips; two sisters, Mrs. William Roubinek of Glenview, Ill., and Mrs. Emily Miller of Tucson, Arizona; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
