Cruz F. Ochoa went to be with his Heavenly Father on February 8, 2012.
Cruz gave his life to the Lord in 1989 he praised the Lord and served faithfully to the end. He loved working for the Lord from opening services to mowing the yard at the Good Shepherd Church of God in Poteet, Texas. He had such a passion for helping people in need; he helped coordinate for the disaster that happen in Del Rio by taking food, water and clothing to those in need.
Not only was he faithful to the Lord but he was also as loyal and faithful to his employer for over 50 years at Palo Alto Silicia Sand Pit.
He was a good provider and devoted husband for 48 years. He was a loving father and even a greater Ampo to all his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mr. Ochoa is preceded in death by his son Johnny Joe Ochoa.
He is survived by his wife; Martha Ochoa of Pleasanton; daughters: Jo Ann Fuentes and husband Roy of Pleasanton, Mary Grace Santos of Jourdanton, Connie Martinez and husband Joe of San Antonio and Irma Zepeda and husband Andy of San Diego, CA; sons: Hector Ochoa of Pleasanton and Jesse Uribe, Jr and wife Angelica of Jourdanton; seventeen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes acknowledge and thank to Serio Martinez his faithful and loyal friend.
Visitation will be held at Hurley Funeral Home, 118 West Oaklawn Rd., Pleasanton, TX from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a prayer service to be recited at 7:00 PM Friday, February 10, 2012. Funeral service will be at Monte Horeb Church in Jourdanton at 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 11, 2012. Interment to follow at First Memorial Park in Von Ormy.
