Services for Betty Faye Eppinette, age 69, of West Monroe, LA will be at 1:00PM, Saturday, October 18, 2003 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel, West Monroe, LA with Rev. Neil Everett officiating. Interment will be at Twin Cities Memorial Gardens, West Monroe, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
Betty was born on August 17, 1934 in Truman, AR to the late Jack Oberman and the late Wilma Denton, and went to her Lord and Saviour on October 15, 2003 at Glenwood Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Windham.
Betty was a former employee of Howard Brothers, the Paper Center, the West Monroe Senior Center, and the Ouachita Council on Aging, where she enjoyed taking trips with her many friends. She loved to travel and lived a full and happy life, living in such interesting locales as Alaska, Germany and Okinawa. Her greatest talent was her generous love for her family and friends. She felt so blessed having her precious grandchildren, and they meant the world to her.
Betty leaves to cherish her sweet memory her three children, son, Chuck Eppinette; daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Ricky Auttonberry; daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Lynn Cavender; five grandchildren, Andrew Auttonberry, Matthew Auttonberry, James Auttonberry, Steven Auttonberry and Courtney Cavender; two sisters, Julia Murphree and husband Jimmy and Vivia Alford; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Murphree, Scott Murphree and her grandsons.
Visitation will be Friday from 5:00PM until 8:00PM and Saturday from 11:00AM until service time at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
