MRS. GEORGE BUCK
Mrs. George Buck pased away Thursday at the home of her son, Melborne Buck, at the age of 77 years. Her maiden name was Melvina Oatman and she was born in Norwich, Ontario, August 25, 1847. She married George Buck in 1866 and they came to Michigan in 1872 settling in Muskegon County where they lived until Mr. Buck's death March 31, 1924. Since his death she has made her home with her son in this city. She was a faithful member of the Holton Baptist Church.
She is survived by a brother, Albert Oatman of Tillsonburg, Ontario,Canada., one sister, Mrs. Forsyth, of Superior, Wisconsin, a daughter, Mrs. Oscar Harris of Hart, and a son Melborne Buck, of this city.
The funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the home conducted by the Reverend George Van Wingerden, pastor of the White Cloud Methodist Church. Interment was in Clark Cemetery.
