LUCK GERTRUDE JEAN (O'TOOLE)
Age 83, of Monroeville, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2014. Gertrude will be lovingly remembered by her husband and best friend of 50 years, Russell. She is survived by her daughters, Susan McAleer (Joseph) and Kerry Luck-Costa (Marc); and her grandchildren, Megan and Sean McAleer; she is the sister of Edward O'Toole (Adrienne), Mary Quirk (Thomas), Ann Kalin (Frank), and the late Lawrence O'Toole (surviving wife, Greta). Gertrude was an executive assistant at Westinghouse Research & Development Center. She was a volunteer usher for the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, and enjoyed reading, cooking, bridge, bowling, and traveling the world. Friends will be received on Wednesday, February 26, 2014, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the GENE H. CORL, INC. FUNERAL CHAPEL AND CREMATION SERVICES OF MONROEVILLE, 4335 Northern Pike. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. at North American Martyrs Church on Thursday, February 27, 2014, with Father Joseph Luisi as celebrant. Interment following in Good Shepherd Cemetery. The family would like to thank Arden Court of Monroeville for their excellent care and compassion.
