|Birth: ||Jun. 1, 1832, Ireland|
|Death: ||Sep. 17, 1912|
Note: the headstone inscription has the DOD as September 17, 1912. The obituary was published on Friday, September 20th, and it refers to the death as taking place the previous Monday, which taken literally would be on the 16th. Probably there is room for interpretation; will use the DOD of September 17, 1912 with that caution.

Mrs. Murphy had been in ill health many years thought the end came unexpectedly. It was as if she peacefully slept, and at the Master's touch her spirit returned to Him who gave it.
